London - Camden Recovery Service - CGL

Arlington Rd· Camden Town, London· NW1

CGL Camden Counselling Service provides 12 sessions of weekly one-to-one counselling to adults in early recovery from drug/alcohol use.  They have undertaken work with keyworkers and groups to reduce/manage their substance use prior to engaging with the counselling service. We also offer counselling to the family members of people using substances.
While people come to our service to make changes in their substance use, the underlying issues that they bring to counselling are very broad. Our service users also come from very diverse socio-economic backgrounds in the borough of Camden, and have a wide range of life experiences.

We offer:
  • An opportunity to gain counselling experience in a national organisation
  • Training relating to substance use, bereavement and grief, family relationships, etc.
  •  Supportive and committed team
  • Individual and group clinical supervision
